We welcome your questions and strongly encourage you seek research assistance virtually, through the library's Ask A Question page. You can reach us by chat, text, email, or book a Zoom appointment.
For faculty, you may also contact a librarian who is assigned to your discipline. They can work with you on research projects, material recommendations and library instruction.
Librarians or graduate assistants will be available in person in the building for research assistance the following times--this is subject to change at any point during the semester:
Reach out to your liaison librarian to work out the specifics of what library instruction would work best for you and your students. Options might include, but aren't limited to librarian designed assignments, asynchronous video tutorials, or, depending on availability, live time synchronous sessions.
Depending on your needs and interests, it is possible to add a librarian to your D2L page to provide students library-related assistance.

As a result of a nationwide transition to online learning, vendors and publishers have begun providing free temporary access to online resources. While increased access is something the library looks to provide regularly, there are many factors that require thorough consideration before we can provide access to those resources through the library.
If you have come across any temporarily free resources that you would like the library to consider providing access to, please email libraryreference@bemidjistate.edu or contact us through our Ask a Question page.
The MnPALS consortium of libraries has begun curating a list of temporarily free resources that can be seen here.
